A Light Exists in Spring A Farm-to-Table Benefit Dinner for CommUnity Crisis Services

  • Walker Homestead 3867 James Avenue Southwest Iowa City, IA, 52246 United States (map)

About the Experience

Held on the evening of Daylight Saving Time—when light quite literally returns—A Light Exists in Spring is an intimate, reflective farm-to-table dinner inspired by the poetry of Emily Dickinson.

The evening blends seasonal cuisine, poetry, and storytelling to honor moments of transition: from uncertainty to stability, from crisis to care, from darkness toward light.

This benefit dinner supports CommUnity Crisis Services, an organization providing immediate, non-judgmental support for individuals and families facing emotional, food, and financial crises in our community.
