Our Mission

Walker Homestead Farm & Winery exists to bring people together—around the table, the vineyard, and the land we love. We celebrate Iowa’s seasons through fresh, harvested meals and gatherings that nourish both body and soul. Whether guests join us for a wedding, birthday, or a quiet evening among the gardens, we offer a meaningful retreat from the everyday—rooted in flavor, friendship, and the spirit of community.

A Working Farm & Welcoming Table

Nestled on 80 acres just outside Iowa City, Walker Homestead blends sustainable agriculture with genuine hospitality. Our farm and winery are more than a destination—we are an experience that connects people to the land, the food, and one another.

Farm-to-Table Dining

Our kitchen celebrates what’s grown right here on the farm. Each week, we harvest seasonal produce and craft menus that highlight the best of Iowa’s bounty. From our Farmer’s Table Dinners and Chef’s Series to our weekly open hours, guests enjoy dishes paired with wines made among the vines they overlook.

Experience the charm of our farmer’s table, where fresh, local ingredients meet exquisite wines crafted on-site.
